Directors

Nicholas Riddle
(Executive Chair)
After obtaining an MA in music at Oxford University, Nicholas Riddle went into the computer industry for thirteen years from 1981, working for the Scandinavian Strålfors Group. He joined Peters Edition Ltd in December 1993 as General Manager, becoming its Managing Director at the start of 1995. In January 1998, he was appointed also President of C.F. Peters Corporation in New York; in October 2002, he instead became its Executive Chair. He is a member of Board of the Music Publishers Association UK, as well as of the International Confederation of Music Publishers, is on the Council of the Royal Philharmonic Society, and is a Trustee of the Kathleen Ferrier Trust. His favorite other activities include directing choral music and playing the organ.

Roger McClean
(President)
Roger P. McClean began his career at C.F. Peters Corporation in 1971 after having proudly served his country in the Navy. He has held a number of positions in the company and through his natural business abilities, after advancing to head the Credit and Collections Department in 1984 he was appointed Financial Director. In 1995 he was promoted to General Manager, then moved on to become Vice-President and in 2002, President. He currently sits on both the New York Board of Directors and the International Board of Directors. An enthusiastic patron of the arts as well as a sensible and plain-speaking businessman, he enjoys attending concerts with his wife, Ginny, and has served on the board of the Music Publishers Association.

Gene Caprioglio
(Vice President for New Music & Rights)
Gene Caprioglio started studying music at DeBellis Music Studio in Astoria, New York in 1963. He received a B.A. in Music Education from Queens College of the City University of New York in 1975 and entered the music publishing business with G. Schirmer shortly after graduation. Since 1978 Gene has been working at C.F. Peters where he has held a number of positions, had the honor of working with talented composers, musicians and colleagues, and learned a lot about music, publishing, and life. When not working at publishing music, Gene is active in the NYC music scene as a guitarist in a diverse group of ensembles.

Frank Billack
(Vice President and Director of Sales)
Frank received a Bachelor of Music Education degree from St. Mary of the Plains College in and a Master of Arts for Teachers degree from Rutgers University. He holds permanent music teacher certification in the states of New York and New Jersey. After joining C.F. Peters in 1976, he held a variety of positions including Import Manager and Educational Director. He has been Director of Sales since 1985 and was appointed to the Board of Directors of C.F. Peters Corporation in 2004. He has been on the Trade Relations Committee of both the Music Publishers Association and the Retail Print Music Dealers Association.
