Boudreau Conducts Castérède In Paris

CRR de Paris Pays Tribute to Late Composer
This past Friday, April 10, the Regional Conservatory of Paris performed a concert in tribute to the late French composer Jacques Castérède, who passed away last April. Robert Austin Boudreau of the American Wind Symphony Orchestra, who commissioned several major works from Castérède over the past 50 years, was on had to guest-conduct the ensemble as they performed Divertissement d'été, one of the pieces written specifically for the AWSO. Boudreau also participated in a roundtable discussion of Castérède's life and works earlier in the day. Click here to learn more about the composer and purchase his works.
