David Amram Conducts

A Benefit for Doctors Without Borders
On January 28th, David Amram will conduct his Elegy for Violin and Orchestra and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony at Carnegie Hall. The concert is a benefit for Doctors Without Borders and will be dedicated to the Rohingya refugees. Performers will include long-time Amram collaborator and violinist, Elmira Darvarova with musicians from the New York Philharmonic, the MET Orchestra, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Buffalo Philharmonic, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and the Orchestra of St. Luke’s.
