Peters NY Warehouse Temporarily Closed
In response to the constantly evolving situation surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has this past weekend issued an executive order requiring all workers in non-essential industries to stay home from work until further notice. Peters is wholeheartedly committed to doing the right thing for customers and staff, and as a result, we have made the decision to close our New York warehouse and rental library temporarily.
Since much of our staff is able to work remotely, Peters remains able to offer customer support by phone and email, and take backorders to be shipped as soon as the executive order is lifted. But unfortunately, we are temporarily unable to ship sales orders, or to make or receive rental shipments, within the Americas. Customers seeking immediate delivery of sheet music while our warehouse is closed should consult any retailers that stock Peters-distributed titles and also accept phone or online orders during this time.
returning materials at this time, rental customers should hold onto any music until contacted by Peters rental staff. There will be no extension or late fees charged during this
Kathryn Knight, president of Peters New York, comments:
''This terrible situation has made us more aware than ever of the resilience and courage of the community of musicians that it is our pleasure to serve. We look forward to resuming full service as soon as it is safe to do so. But our highest priorities must be the health and well-being of that community, of our staff, and of the larger communities around the world in which we are grateful to play a part.''
We apologize for any inconvenience you may suffer as a result of this situation, and we are grateful for your patience until we are able to resume service as usual. If you have any questions or concerns, you may contact us at:
